BACK HOME
We are all back home having completed all of the European festival shows we had planned. So now I begin the process of assembling all of the material for the completion of the final mixes of Lauren's debut album. I am really looking forward to havng everone hear all of the great songs Lauren has recorded. I begin on Mon. and should be putting the final touches and tweaks when Lauren and her father come over to Miami later on in July.

Bilbao Blog
The Bilbao V-Blog. I had planned to find Lauren and film her a little but, she disappeared to the other stage and we got involved with gear logistics [remember the trucks were late].
We are back in Harlow today. We just finished the last show of this run at The Brixton Academy last night. It was a benefit show for Clive Burr. Clive was the original Iron Maiden drummer who suffers from MS. It was a great show. It is always a little sad to know it is the last show for a while but, everyone is looking forward to getting home and sleeping in their own beds etc. When I get back to the States I will finish up the final mixes on Lauren's album. I am really looking for ward to that. We have some great songs most of which no one ,besides us, has ever heard.
I have a buch of great footage to go through for some future V-Blogs. I will post them as soon as can get them edited.

Fields Of Rock
Here is the Fields Of Rock V-Blog. This show was the hi-light of the tour so far, not only did we get to perform with our friends Mastodon but, we also played on the same stage as Heaven And Hell. We got a chance to talk with them and take some photos. Real fan stuff. You can see Tony Iommi in the background walk past Lauren and I while we were filming. Like I said real 'fan' stuff. Day off today. We are in a studio in Rome mixing some of the Dubai footage for a DVD release. I am currently awaiting the files to be downloaded from the studio's FTP site. Six hours and counting. Anyway, tomorrow we are playing the Olympic statium in Rome and then it's on to Spain.

Donnington Downlow

Download Festival
We are back in Essex today. We drove back from the Download festival at Castle Donnington last night, and what a festival it was. We arrived on Saturday night.Got our passes and immediately made a bee-line for the second stage to catch a little Motley Crue. They were on point. Nikki was on fire and Tommy Lee has one of the best grooves in the biz. I have always been a fan of Tommy's drumming. After Motley we headed to the main stage to see a little of Linkin Park. It was way too crowded so we just listened from afar. Lauren had to then make a live appearance on Bruce Dickinson's BBC radio show. We then headed off to our hotel which was in Nottingham about 30 minutes away. The next day we are up early and off to the festival site. Lauren had tons of press setup. I want to personally thank Sharon Richardson and her Factory crew , Andy, Ollie and Ian [Colin]. They not only setup all the press but also coordinated all the times and got us to all of the interviews. They were absolutely invaluble and we could not have done it without them. The show was one of the best we have ever done and the crowd was with us the whole time. I have lots of fun footage that I will edit together a new V-Blog in the next day or so.
Our next show is in Venice, so we have a few days to recuperaite before we are off again. Thanks to all our friends that came down to Download to hang out with us...Plina, Lil, Matt, Steve Porter and Kristin, Sanna, Tina, John Miles, American flag couple. Anybody I missed, sorry... but I sit way in the back and I am lucky if I can see the rest of the band on some nights.

Today we are in Lugwigshaven, Germany. Playing with Maiden , our buddies in Mastodon, In Flames, and Papa Roach. We are at the venue early so I suspect we will actually be able to go out to dinner instead of eating on the bus. Yeah!!!
THis vid is from the Czech Republic. We had a great show and the crowd was enormous, around 30,000 people. Pretty amazing.
